Delta Chat is a unique messenger that leverages the vast and decentralized communication network of existing e-mail servers. It allows users to seamlessly chat with their e-mail contacts using their standard e-mail account.

In technical terms, Delta Chat functions as an e-mail application but presents a modern chat interface. It ensures that all chat and contact data remain securely stored on users' devices, without any uploads or centralized control of personal information like address books or calendars.
